Big brands do battle on a whole different front. A mere matter of moments after the subtly curved iPhone 6 Plus became available, the Internet exploded with photos of bent iPhone 6s. It sounded like gangs of roving ruffians were heading into stores and snapping them in half. Was it a plot orchestrated by mainstream media? A design flaw? A reverse marketing scheme? Or just the haters wanting to take the tech giant down a notch? Our verdict: people will see how far anything flexible and curved will go before it snaps. Human nature demands it. We are wired to test the limits of flexibility. In short, we’re a curious bunch.
