Account Executive

Spyglass is a Minneapolis-based strategic brand and marketing agency helping business leaders solve mission-critical brand and marketing challenges. We’re looking for an energetic, proactive, detail-obsessed Account Executive who thrives at the intersection of strategy, creativity, and execution.This is a hybrid role (T – Th in-office, Monday/Friday remote) for someone who brings urgency, ownership, and confidence.

 

What You’ll Do

Own Client Relationships and Drive Engagement Success

  • Serve as day-to-day lead for a portfolio of brand strategy and creative clients
  • Lead client meetings, set agendas, and map clear next steps
  • Translate client objectives into tight briefs and actionable plans
  • Build trust through responsiveness, clarity, and proactive problem-solving
  • Anticipate needs and surface smart recommendations before a client asks
  • Connect client business goals to creative outputs
  • Clearly communicate – write sharp emails, run efficient meetings, prompt friendly follow up
  • Catch risks early, solve them quickly, and keep everyone aligned

 

Manage the Projects End-to-End

  • Manage scopes, timelines, budgets, and feedback with calm precision and confidence
  • Stay organized – manage every detail. You love lists and proactive follow-ups.
  • Coordinate strategy, creative, production, and external strategic partners
  • Organize documents, assets, and workflows with a high level of detail
  • Keep projects moving without being asked
  • Maintain version control and streamline collaboration
  • Support estimates, briefs, invoicing, resourcing, and forecasting
  • Run internal resourcing and status meetings
  • Partner with vendors (print, proofing, production, mailing)
  • Identify inefficiencies and actively improve processes

 

Represent Spyglass

  • Be a sharp thinker and curious about brands and people.
  • Bring good humor and humility. Be a positive ambassador!
  • Contribute to thought leadership, case studies, and agency storytelling
  • Help evolve how the agency works – tools, processes, and standards

 

Skills & Experience Required

  • 5+ years in account management, project management, or client services
  • Agency or consulting experience
  • Comfortable managing multiple clients and stakeholders simultaneously
  • Strong understanding of brand strategy and creative workflows
  • Confident managing budgets, scopes, timelines, and resourcing
  • High-level proficiency in:
    • Google Docs, Slides, Sheets
    • PowerPoint, Word, Excel
    • Basecamp, Harvest, or similar tools
    • Outlook
    • Social media (channel usage, strategy and content development)
    • AI-enabled marketing
